LD90 - 3
General Information
The sensors of series LD90-3 are based upon the well-proved principle of time-of-flight measurement of short laser pulses, like all RIEGL products.
They can be operated with practically any target surface, i.e. "reflectorless" up to many hundred meters, and with reflecting foil or retroreflectors up to more than 1000 m.

- LaserWin 4 - SPEED IPU License, extends LaserWin by an additional speed calculating module
- For EHS-instruments only: Driver License RiPORT for operating systems WINDOWS NT, 2000, and XP platforms for data acquisition via ECP Port on PC platform, with source code examples for interfacing to Microsoft Visual C++.

Special Housings

Therefore, the provisions of the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC such as CE-marking or EC declaration of conformity are not mandatory and, therefore, not applied. The manufacturer of the end apparatus has, under his responsibility, to comply with the EMC directive as far as applicable".

Our distance meters use the time-of-flight method to determin the distacne of a remote target by measuring the transit time between transmission and reception of a shorter laser pulse.
